The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure ASA 2025 is the right rental in Lisbon if you already ride large bikes and want several days in Portugal. The 1,300 cc boxer makes 145 hp and 149 Nm: calm in villages, with real reserve on nationals and the motorway. It is not a city bike or a first big motorcycle — the seat is 870–890 mm and it weighs 269 kg ready to ride. In return, ASA, the 30-litre tank and adaptive height control (lowers when you stop, rises after you pull away) make long days easier than on a stock-tall GS.
